Geréby Mansion Hotel and Stables is situated in a picturesque setting, in the heart of the Great Plain, approximately 30 minutes away from Budapest by car, and just 3 km from the Lajosmizse exit of the M5 highway.
The enchanting natural surroundings are especially attractive in the summer, but sleigh rides on the Puszta in wintertime are also unforgettable.
The park is usually filled with the sounds of birds chirping, and mallards lay eggs in the bushes near the lakeside. In the quiet summer mornings, roe deer wander into the park. Due to the location of the buildings, guests can feel close to nature without having to sacrifice any degree of comfort.
Here, you can truly forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life; the harmonious surroundings make you relax without even noticing it.
After World War II, the manor fell into disrepair and became completely unusable. However, after a comprehensive reconstruction in 1986, the mansion opened its doors to the public as a hotel. Initially, it was part of the HungarHotels chain of hotels, until it was privatized in 1991.
Since then, managing directors Lajos Látos and László Szélesi have been running the Geréby manor, which, thanks to recent developments, has become one of the most elegant venues in the region.
