András Zala is the master chef of Geréby Hotel Mansion, who has been responsible for the leading of the kitchen since the opening year 1986. He bustled in the kitchen around his mum in his childhood, who was also working as a cook in a factory canteen. There was no doubt at the choice of career that he would become a cook.
After working for some renowned local restaurants, he accepted the job offer of leading the kitchen at the request of László Szélesi, one of the managing directors, to be member of the newly opened Geréby Mansion Hotel’s team. This happened over three decades ago.
From 2012, the chef's duties are assisted by our young chef Tamás Duzdás.
His example, his dynamism and the respect for the traditions of the house is an example for every colleague. He has good organizing ability and team spirit.
